Description
SOLD OUT!. As with it’s predecessor, the 2021 Symphony is blended in the style of a left bank Bordeaux wine, primarily featuring Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Malbec, and Petite Verdot. It is a true Meritage. As with the highly rated and award winning 2019, it spent at least one year in new American oak, giving it aromas and flavors of spice and vanilla. As with other great left bank of Bordeaux wines, it has a wonderful bouquet of dark fruits including raspberries, blackberries, and cassis. It has a lingering finish and wonderful, smooth mouth feel. While still young, this is an age worthy wine and will taste best if decanted or given time to breathe. It is drinkable now as the tannins are beginning to be supple and rich. As the wine matures it will simply get better and better.
